I'll try my best to keep up with Pokémon Gaming news as much as I can, in order to keep all of you updated on what's going on with the gaming aspects of the kingdom.
Pokémon Platinum Confirmed - May 11, 2008
An image for the next CoroCoro Magazine has arrived, which reveals the next Pokémon Nintendo DS Title, 'Pokémon Platinum'. The preview features a few changes to the game, such as a new battle interface. Not only that, but a wardrobe change, judging from the blue trainer over-world sprite, who stands in front of what is Giratina's Origin Form.
Hmm, next to Giratina seems to Dialga on the left, whilst Palkia is on the right-side of Giratina's black silhouette.
In addition, the following information has also been leaked:
- Pokémon Platinum's Release date is planned for September in Japan. The boxart and cartridge will have Giratina as a resemblence.
- The Pokémon themselves will have more forms, apparently. This includes Giratina's Origin Form, Regigigas' Sky Form and ironically, Shaymins' "Another Form".
- Sinnoh Underground will FINALLY have WiFi capabilities.
- Volkner will no longer play the role of a Gym Leader in Sunyshore City. No reason for this yet.
- Battle Frontier type of area will be introduced.
The above information is not 100% confirmed, although only time will tell. As more information on this is revealed, I'll continue posting about this. Keep checking back for more!
